Thing 5
The Web is no longer just a vessel of information to filter through, it is now something that we interact with on a daily basis. Web 2.0 has raised the bar with interactivity on the Internet. Blogs, RSS feeds, Podcasts, Online Classes, Social Networking are just a few of the technologies that have reached anyone with computer access. Over the last 10 years interaction through the Internet has compelled technology to enter the education world and with limited class space and unlimitless potential, online education has quickly put itself in the spotlight of the future. As long as teachers continue to learn and practice good techniques and organizational skills, students can gain a quality education without stepping foot inside a classroom.
